Weeneebayko Area Health Authority (WAHA)
End-to-end MEDITECH Expanse implementation and ongoing digital health support for a First Nations-governed health authority serving remote, fly-in-only communities across Northern Ontario.
- Led MEDITECH Expanse implementation and legacy EMR transition planning, including build configuration, point-of-care device integration (X-ray, iSTAT, ECG, glucometer), and rollout sequencing across multiple remote sites with no dedicated local IT staff
- Designed and delivered frontline-ready training and change management programs, including go-live and post-go-live support tailored to small clinical teams with limited time away from patient care
- Led clinical documentation system migrations for emergency and consultation workflows, working directly with clinical leadership to drive full adoption
- Coordinated eReferral platform implementation (Ocean) in partnership with a regional referral program, including provider directory data cleanup to ensure accurate referral routing
- Built Python and Power BI-based analytics, including a medication classification model to support clinical readiness ahead of go-live, and ongoing reporting across clinical, finance, and operations teams
